Or do as I do, I found cablenut a bit much too. Use the TCP Optimizer. Set speed on the dial, hit Optimal and reboot pretty much. site has been banned for spamming I usually get better speeds that way anyway. edit out banned link.

It looks to me like you have to identify which version you have to have first now. I think it used to be universal. http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039 If you still have trouble, you may have to download a 30 free version to get rid of it. Like with AVG I was having trouble removing the freeversion, so I D/L'd the 30 trial and will remove it at 30 days. You just do not have to wait. Install and immediatly upon rebooting remove so at least then you have the version to remove. Might also try to remove it from your registry and "my computer".

Yeah, 64 bit sometimes requires the proper downloads, I'd stick with 32 bit also. Although 64 bit is ok.
