    vista help

any video card is a good replacement for that...that seems like onboard video - so anything is better than that pretty much
  3. Ahaaaaaaaaaa.........I remember a month ago or so someone asked whether they will be selling 32bit and 64bit versions of vista on the same DVD - I guess I was right ! ........ Ultimate edition 32bit vista for 200 dux.....64bit version to be sold later for more $......  I win LOL
  4. assuming that is the only hard drive in your computer......you have to go into BIOS and set CD-ROM/DVD-ROM as your primary boot device (usually located under the first category in bios menu)......then when computer is starting up it will say something like press any key to boot from cd rom (have the operating system cd rom in your drive) and follow the steps it tells you to.... on most systems you go into BIOS by pressing DELETE, F10, F8 or F9 key if you are not installing the operating system on it for the first time, meaning: if you are adding an additional hard drive to a computer which already has operating systems installed on it, let us know
  5. not necessarily that the o/s is corrupt....it can also point to the problem such as computer not knowing which hard drive to boot from which is basically saying that it does not know where your operating system is located put an additional hard drive in your system ? replace the one that failed ?
  6. defragging often doesn't stress your hard drive more than it stresses it when you defrag once a year.........well, theoretically it is the 'stress' that a hard drive is supposed to be able to handle without any trouble..... they are made to operate and to be used at all times - if anything, defragging your hard drive will keep your system in tip-top shape and plus not to mention, generally its better for example to defrag once a week then once a month - ....it takes less time to do so (.....generally) what you can do, to avoid defragging all the time is set a good cluster/block size when formatting your hard drive or before installing an operating system....... if you plan to have a lot of big files on a hard drive, make the cluster/block chunk bigger, if you plan on having a lot of small files make your cluster size smaller
  7. hahahaha lOL ! happy birthday hahahah
  8. hm........i know its hard to deal with these things but there must be a way to take the weight off your shoulders - there must be something you can protect yourself with
  9. What you have to simply state in the agreement when people make an account is that you just provide the service of uploading the document and you take no responsibility for the content of their upload...... state that on your website's front page too......you are not responsible for the content uploaded........it might help you get out of trouble if you ever get into any
  10. The person who uploaded that file to you probably posted it on a forum or something.......thats my guess.........it might have been picked up by a crawler because I am sure RIAA has that........
  11. yeah, what Im saying is that the phone is out for the GSM crowd, but it will come to CDMA as well
  12. the phone is already out actually, you can buy it unlocked for gsm networks but verizon is supposedly getting them as well.......i dont know when though i really wanna wait for that phone, so I might as well....I just wish someone could give me a projected date for it coming on verizon's phone lineup....
  13. take it more than 2.6 its crying for more....cant you hear it ? ... i can
  14. quick correction to my post !!! That is usually a common setup with ram slots - but refer to your manual to see which slots you can use for dual channel - not necessarily slots 1/3 and 2/4 ***But main thing that I am trying to point out is that if your motherboard has particular slots dedicated to running memory in dual channel, make sure you stick your ram in those slots
  15. if you are running Dual channel memory you need to run your memory in this configuration: 1st slot 1ST STICK OF RAM 2nd slot NOTHING 3rd slot 2ND STICK OF RAM 4th slot NOTHING or the other way around with slots 2 and 4 in use That is assuming you are running 2 sticks of memory in dual channel - sticking memory in slots 1 and 2 will not work or 2 and 3 or 3 and 4 If that is not the case for you - simply RMA the board back
  16. http://computers.ebay.in/ - Ebay india !? http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=in&l=en&s=gen - Dell for India
  17. yeah Im leaning towards samsung as well
  18. HA HA !....I am returning my LG vx8300 to Verizon since I was not satisfied with it .... the phone had trouble receiving phone calls for some odd reason, and its not the fact that I am in a house that is actually made out of bricks since my other phones have good reception, but there is really something wrong with the phone... They sent me one replacement unit, same phone, and the problem still exists.... Long story short....I am mailing the phone back for a different make/model What is everyone else using with verizon wireless ? I am thinking between the Samsung a930 or the motorola razr v3m - I am also thinking of holding of for couple of weeks and see what else is released...there is a rumor verizon will have the Motorola razr MAXX (...i like that phone a lot).... Whats your opinion on this ?..... PS. I dont like anything like a smartphone/pda type of a device
  19. tell them you 'live independently' alone in your room...as if they were renting it out to you.....that should work I think - thats how my friend got a 2nd cable modem
