Thank you all... I love watching this grow... I can't imagine it in even just 6 months. 750 new signed up members so far this month... well over a total of 1/4 million people visited this site this month. Thank you everyone for telling friends and keeping this site alive. I will continue on my end scripting my fingers off You guys are what makes this site great... I just put the puzzle together Oh yea.. and the forum has grown HUGE.. over 1/4 million page views in the forum alone... we are doing very well.

By the way.. .s1 if there is a pause before the test transfer it doesn't count against your score. It doesn't start counting untill about 1ms before the progress bar starts showing progress.

Yep... Yep... it shows when you interupt it because it's formatted like this <!-- << that is the start of a hidden tag --> << that is the end of a hidden tag. Those tags and anything in between those tags will not show in your browser <!-- useless data is loading right here... but you interupt it and the close of the hidden tag can't load... so the data will show Make sense?

Well, I have seen speed degradation on wireless as opposed to wired LAN in every case I have tested. 802.11b is 11 Mbps and is definitely going to slow your connection down. When I used this my 4000 Kbps connection (at the time) slowed to about 2000-3000 Kbps when I was not too far from the router. The farther away you are the worse the problem. 802.11g is 54 Mbps and will increase your range quite a bit. You should see allot less degradation of speed because of the higher bandwidth and the increased range. You will also have much better range through walls and obstacles. Now on to the newest shit out there. Pre-N - Now, Pre-N has not come out yet but Pre-N stuff has. Belkin offers a Pre-N router for about 159.99 and a laptop card for 109.99 see this at Belkins Site (direct link to router). Below are some of the listed advantages... stuff in green are advantages over old technology.

As for the spell checker... there are a couple of things it doesn't know, it uses a server-side ap that has it's own dictionary. I am going to read up to see if I can add my own entries for some common tech type stuff it doesn't know yet. Thanks guys you all rock!

For reals.. that's insane speed. And that's over seas. Van, in general do you find that most servers aren't optimized like this? Do you get shitty speeds to most US destinations.
