FredEx, you should be upgraded. In the Comcast Help Forums, lots of people in southern MI have been reporting upgrades. It's rumored that the reason is because of the IL & IN upgrade. You are probably pulling from their coverage and are all set. Read Here: S.W. Michigan UpGrade Speed

The test is cached. You need to clear out your internet cache files and retest. If you get the same thing, turn off any internet accelerators you may have. In the event that you are not using an accelerator, your firewall could be causing the problem. Sometimes your internet protection can block/scan test files in real time, and that will result in a score like that one. Comcast doesn't give that much overhead.

If you currently do not subscribe to any Comcast Cable TV or Comcast Phone services, you will have the following options for HSI available to you:

You will automatically be upgraded to the 6000/384 package. It's not the gold tier, but just a free upgrade because you subscribe to a cable tv package. For $10 more, you can get the gold tier at 8000/768.

Very welcome. Sometimes, at the end if the blue screen, it tells you the exact file that caused the problem. My hardware firewall was conflicting with a software one, and I kept getting the BSOD. I noticed the name of a certain .dll file in the report. I searched for it and the results showed the it was indeed within the Nvidia Network Access Manager folder. I disabled the software firewall and everything was fine. Had I not seen the .dll file listed in the report, I would've been uninstalling lots of programs for nothing. I hope your problem is something simple as well. Good luck.

If you want to see what file/program is causing the problem, see if this helps. Perform this in safe-mode: 1.) Right-click My Computer. 2.) Select the Advanced tab. 3.) Under Startup and Recovery, click the Settings button. 4.) Under Write debugging information, the first available option should be a drop down slot. The default selection is normally set to "Small memory dump (64KB)". 5.) Change it to "Complete memory dump". 6.) Ok your way back to the desktop. 7.) Reboot the system in normal mode. 8.) When you get the blue screen of death, it will sit there long enough to see what file/program is causing the problem. Make a note of it and search for it in safe mode. That way you will be able to see what folder it's in. Hope that helps out some.

As far as I know, Launch music videos only offers up to three speed options. 1.) 56k 2.) 100k 3.) 300k EDIT: My mistake. I just watched a video and it gave me more options. Added a additional pic:

Actually, Comcast is downgrading the upload. Right now, I have 6000/768. When I get the 8000/768, I will have to stay at that package in order to keep that upload speed. If, for whatever reason, I decide that I don't want the 8Mbps down, I wouldn't be able to go back to 6000/768. I'll have to accept the 6000/384 package. I'm happy that Comcast made it so that if you subscribe to any cable tv service (yes, even limited basic TV), you will be upgraded to the higher packages at no additional charge.

No way I'm going to miss out. I gotta have the core system. Really, $399 isn't that bad for all the accessories that comes with it. I'll end up buying them seperately anyway.
