Welcome to the forums Magyver and kiwaku You both have good speeds.
-
That's a good question. Fiber is in a type of cable. Would that also make FIOS and DSL different?
-
No problems here either. Using XP's build in unzip. I'll post speed test results soon.
-
Your upstream power level looks a little high. http://commerce.motorola.com/consumer/QWhtml/pdf/SB5120_DataSheet.PDF You should make sure all conections are tight. Mine is high too SB4220, but I think it's because of the hot weather.

Cool. Up next, leet (1337):

Hammering Bot, Auto Refresh Program out there?
netmasta replied to Tristan9669's topic in General Discussion
Just search Yahoo! for "auto refresh code". You're not planing to do anything here, right? -
Welcome to the forums MrX 9.44% faster than avarage, pretty good. What are your advertised speeds?
-
I use the Smartest because sometimes I will get the 5Mb test. Regular service is capped at 4Mb
-
I never heard of them either. It looks like they're still accepting new accounts. Are you sure you didn't get a spoofed e-mail? BTW welcome to the forums

Thanks for the links. I knew about the HD thing. To me, and probably a lot of other people, the gameplay matters more than the graphics. From what one of the articles said, it seems like copyright problems are holding back more realeases. I imagine compatibility also has something to do with it. They'll probably get around that easily though. They have before, e.g.: SMB 1-3 ported to the SNES and GBA's Classic NES series.

.7Mb above cap is very good.

I use the AnalogX Hypertrace sometimes. It's much faster than Tracert. -
New to the forum...whaddya guys think?
netmasta replied to pacmantravis's topic in Show off your speed
I'm not sure, but I think the buisness speeds vary by location. More info at:http://work.comcast.net/ -
The thing about Nintendo is, they don't make enough "adult" themed games. They seem to still appeal to the younger crowd. I hope the have more mature games realeased for the Revolution. I still want to know more about the beaing able to play 20 years worth of Nintendo stuff will be like, e.g.: cost, feel of the games. Graphics don't make the game! That's for sure. I think M$ is pleanty big enough.

I have a Motorola SB4220 connected to a D-Link DI-624. I have my comp. hardwired to the router through a Netgear FA312. My sisters laptop has Wireless 54G My parent's computer connects through a Sohoware Cablefeee wireless Netblaster 802.11? (next to the router in the pic) at a painfully slow 2Mb. I guess I'll have to upgrade them soon.

I have a Motorola SB4200 and have never had any problems with it. Just make sure you get a modem that is compatible with your ISP.

I saw some kind of weird animated (Flash) thing online a few months ago, where 15 or so consoles were "battling" each other. I forgot the link , but I think the site was Japaneese based.
-
Well, somewhat. 4500 may have logged in, but that doesn't mean 4500 people posted messages. Some probably just logged in to do a speed test.

need help with putting pictures in the sig box below post
netmasta replied to Buzz's topic in General Discussion
First make it a .jpg or .png, then upload it to a hosting site. I recommend http://www.photobucket.com. It's free. To put the pic in your sig, use the IMG code, ex: [img=http://example.com/mypic.jpg]
