commonly, there's one thing almost everyone has missed and that's to outsmart smartbro smartbro techs can access your sm remotely. the solution? put passwords on the "root" and "admin" accounts, and create your own account with a password that is easy to remember but hard to guess.

1. turn off your firewall. 2. use the smartbro default dns. 3. change your ip to 169.254.1.3; and the subnet mask to 255.255.0.0; touch the other settings no more. 4. use internet explorer without proxy. 5. if these steps won't work, your canopy might have been remotely locked by hmmm...who else.

have all options been laid down already? you can access it thru the default/override plug but does not necessarily mean it will be set back to factory settings.

is there anything (tree, building) that obstructs your antenna and the base station? is your pole immovable by strong wind? please post a screenshot of your task manager as well as the add/remove programs section.

first, access your canopy. the instructions are actually in the 1st page of this thread http://www.testmy.net/t-18616.0 login using Username: root Password: (leave it blank) go to Configuration/Radio/Color Code change the value from 23 to 21.

adz1922 welcome to TMN instead of color code 23 where you are currently homed with RSSI: 1259 and SectorUserCount: 66, use color code 21 with RSSI: 1042 but only SectorUserCount: 11. try it and see what happens. did you try the 20 steps?

are you on globe lines? what is the advertised speed?
