Yea its been discussed, some folks when using smart-test is getting slower than normal results. Try starting with a higher test number ; aka : 2992

Testing is very choppy for me.. But this is abouts what i came up with. Have to do the tests separate, smarttest no longer completes for me. :::.. server mabey... http://www.testmy.net/tools/database/db_search.php?type=user&q=krazy and your up stems back to a www.bresnan.com which states "With download speeds up to 8.0 Mbps, it's up to 30X the speed of 256k DSL. Download huge files, intense graphics and music in a fraction of the time! Cable-powered so you're always connected. "
-
oh , makes sense.. pretty interesting
-
Basic rule of thumb , a speedtest is to show you "roughly" what your getting in compare to your advertised speeds. It is in no way to believe that whatever site gives you the " best or fastest " speeds is going to be the best site to test.

lol.. 300.. smilie robber !!
-
lol thats interesting. good stuff

Closest back to back / Most consistent speed

D's still working on the upload bug.. Its not really accurate on uploads past 4 mb/s.. but damn 15 up and down.. :s very nice -
On all pc's? Thats verry odd. only thing i can come up with is a bad cookie on a website, that ALL your pc's would to have gone to at one time or another...but... hell i dont know thats very odd.
-
I agree, what about thoes users that still dont use broadband, or well i should say " fast" broadband.. Or thoes like me .... ( lol)... who dont have the fastest pc in the world, i think that may cause slowdowns when trying to read a thread. ??
-
i agree, deffinatly need to do safe mode , mabey not " safe mode with networking " because if they are using the net to track, you dont want it to be running while your trying to find it
-
im still using WMP10 because everytime i try and update to 11 it tells me the installation cannot be done...
-
