reno Posted November 23, 2005 CID Share Posted November 23, 2005 Yeah right I am in STNY and right now the gas prices for the home are going up by 55% Most people around here are going to wood stoves and pellete stoves, I heard some rumors that Corning natural gas (area I am in) would not have enough for the winter. This is nuts, and wood right now is going for a very high price! Damn winter.

junkieXL Posted November 23, 2005 CID Share Posted November 23, 2005 Gas heating prices are ridiculous for sure. Never fear, Edison Electric announced today the great news we all needed: electricity costs jumping ~35% for residential & over 70% for business customers this winter.... :( -JxL

resopalrabotnick Posted November 23, 2005 CID Share Posted November 23, 2005 if it snowed here in PR half the population would die instantly in traffic accidents, the way they drive here. if the temp goes below 80, people start wearing jackets. :haha:
