karthic;I'm not sure what your asking.Do you mean the testmy speed test showed 80kpbs while you were doing a DL from another site? Or Windows DL box showed the 80kpbs? As far as I know you can run simultaneous DL speed tests in different windows from testmy.But you bandwidth would be divided so slower.As far as other sites speed also depends on that sites capacity to upload or their upload speed.

It's about time I weighed into this.I'm going to start with a disclaimer.This is my opinion & not necessarily that of testmy.net ownership. I think the time is coming when citizen patriots will have to take a stand against the US government now in power .To take back our rights.This recent Supreme Court ruling supports & even encourages illegal search & seizure.It is an unConstitutional decision.I think us patriots need to get together & hang the entire current Supreme Court maybe the next one would try to follow the Constitution. I want to give these examples where this type of bust in with a warrant would not be done.Say the police got one for the White House.The governor's mansion of some state,even the mayor or police chief of a city.Would they just bust these doors down or knock & present the warrant?Would they do it at 3:00 AM like they do us regular citizens?Those are rhetorical questions. Why have we allowed hard fought for rights to deteriorate to this level? I'm not worried about them busting my door down at least till they read this.But I have thought about getting a couple of claymores & installing them at my door & anyone busting it down .I would fire the clamors since those breaking in had not clearly identified themselves there would be no reason for me to think they were anything but criminals.I would not set the claymores as a bobby trap since that would be illegal.& I would claim self defense. The claymores might be illegal to own but in the long run any law that says I can't own any weapon violates my Second Amendment right to keep & bear arms.

EWO ;I went & looked at the .22LR Sub Sonic 65 .Those would be fine but for what I use this gun for I think the regular LR hollowpoints are fine.I don't have a gun collection but I do have quite a few.But my 2 choices of my guns for house protection are the 22 Rugger pistol or my 12ga.double barrel .It's a short shot gun but legal still the way I bought it at the gun store. I have a Benelli 9mm pistol as well.I have a single shot Kentucky black powder 45 cal. pistol that might be interesting for the forensics people if I used it.It shoots a nice flame out the barrel. I have a colt replica 44 cal Colt revolver Black powder. That's about half my guns.

My bedside gun is a Ruger22 automatic pistol.I consider the 22 one of the deadliest as well as safest house guns.It doesn't usually go thriugh walls like a larger caliber will .Yet when a body shot is what it is used for the bullet goes in & bounces around tearing everything up.It's not the best head shot gun but most crimonals that might be inside your house without permission aren't wearing body armor.So do the body shot.btw I keep 2 clips handy only 9 shots per clip but if I can't do the job with 18 shots I have no business shoting a gun. resopalrabotnick;their personality makes up for what seems a lack of intellegence.They love people & will do anything to please .I had one for 11 years.She could stand on her hind legs longer that any dog I was ever around.I think she would have stood for half an hour for a treat.she could also walk this way & turn a circle. Tommie ;A friend of mine had a full blood German Shepard with AKC papers this dog weighed 140 lbs & was not fat.I know because my friend could not lift him to weigh him so I did & stepped on the scale while he read the amount.This one was a family pet not a gaurd trained shepard so he was friendly.The only person I saw this dog attack was a mailman who came in the yard when my friends young son was in the yard.Fortunatly this was an old experienced mailman that carried the leather mail bag .The stuck his arm inside it & used it for defense.he did not even get bit.

tommie ; the only labs I've been around much were only part lab.Both looked mostly lab though.One was my mothers dog Tobe I guess he was pretty smart because until his partner dog (an English Setter )died we didn't realize he was deaf.He had used her for his ears for who knows how longThe other was a friends dog he was a pretty feirce dog that liked to fight other dogs & wasn't to safe around people he didn't know.I remember one funny thing about him he cleared a room of 30 people that wher partying at my friens .When he let go a silent but deadly fart.

When I saw you had this gun I had to make a comment.I didn't own the ted williams 20 ga. it belonged to a friend.He would use his "better"12 ga. & I would use his old 20ga.This was probably 35 years ago maybe 30.We would hunt rabbits.btw I don't eat wild rabbit to much chance of disease but I didn't know better then. Anyway this gun had a 3 position choke & I used the full choke setting .I could usually hit the rabbits head & not get shot in the shoulders.My freinds 12 ga. got a lot of shot in the rest of the rabbit.So give me the Ted Williams 20 ga. any day. Right now the only shotgun I have is a fairly short 12 ga. double barrel. The most unusual calibur I have ever fired was a Winchester 25/35..The bullets reallt whistle out of one of those.It was a antique one with the hex barrel. I thought I would add this about dogs.I had a full Irish Setter several years ago.Full of energy & the friendliest dog you could want always seemed happy.The only drawback is she was not always the most intellegent dog a little scatterbrained.

Nos7667 ;I'm not sure how to fix the command prompt but if you want to ping from your OS it's the easiest way.There may be some other software that would let you ping I haven't looked for any since my ISP blocks ping. I'm guessing you have XP & it's kind of anti dos.I have ME & all the 9x OS's use dos pretty well.Maybe some member with XP can help with this better than I can.
