Well let's see what we can do to clarify this "Honey Do List" for you Roco. Thanks, SR. I just wanted to be sure if I was right in assuming the obvious meaning, but had no luck with any dictionary. Thanks for the clarification. What does the phrase "honey-do list" imply? It means a list of things that a husband or wife wants their spouse to do. Honey (term of endearment)do this and then do this... 'Honey', as a term for a spouse or partner, is virtually unknown/unused in the UK and, I suspect, many other parts of the English speaking world. It's overwhelmingly US; I'm unsure about Canada. The term "honey-do" is actually a pun on the honeydew melon which is very popular in the US. http://www.phrases.org.uk/bulletin_board/28/messages/991.html Very American indeed. Still want to come over ' Sounds like water is looking for a slave.

Yeah those Chrysler 300's are long like a bus. Myself, I don't mind a manual shift. But it does get old after a few years. I do prefer one in a truck or sports car. Glad no one got hurt in the accident. I was wee small the times I was in a MG or Austin Healy. But I do remember the low to the groundness of them.

Being a little ornery are we ISP geek ? I personally feel if you are honest you win faster and longer. Just think and a worse honest one will come to mind. It always does for me. And I sleep better that way. And you should call ebay and get the negative feedback removed properly. Just give them a call, I am sure they will listen.

Don't get me wrong basic, it does sound bad, but you have to admit it could be much worse. And then there is always dial-up. Just ask cholla.

Roco, have you ever heard of a honey do list Well I don't have one, I make mine myself. And if it is daylight and nice weather I will be getting mine done. Raking leaves, mowing, picking (several types of apples, pears, cherries), and in general home repair (new roof, clean out the drain, paint the house, clean out the gutters, etc... Now when was I supposed to put my feet up The cooking OK. The laundry when she gets around to it. As far as surviving on my own, "mom" insisted we at least be able to care for ourselves. A wife should not be a requirement for a normal life. I can do the rest if I so desire. But if I am married she might as well have something to do.

The only advantage I see to an LCD is the space and weight saving part. I originally purchased mine when my kids were still in the poking stage. Have ink pen will stab something. So that was the original reason. Bad pixels, clearer, longer life, etc... things I have actually heard on this forum. And MUCH cheaper! Guess that just about sums it up. And I have plenty of space for it, as long as it does not out grow an entire office of 12' X13'.

It is kinda like this phyoptik. We could always use more knowledgeable help. Now there are 2 Main requirements, 1) sense of humor 2) half nuts (we don't care about the other half, it is your choice)

I just figured that might be part of the slow down part in your speeds. I assume you are on a 1.5 DSL connection. And your speeds being around 1056 Kbps. So you are on a network (work in an office with other computers) then? On the pic, can you blame me? I am on here regularly with about 56:6 guys to girls. A fresh face is always nice. Actually we help everybody on the same basis. The faster help part was a joke really. But it does not hurt.

With them kind of fluctations you might as well be on satelite. Hurry up and D/L something.

Very nice post there phyoptik and welcome to the forum It does make a little more sense now, thanks.

I love T-shirts. Only when I wear a *choke* suit am I not wearing one. Actually pocket-T's are preferred.

That ain't no crap. So your "1M/256K $59.95 / month" compares how to 500/50 for $59.95 for Dway? There is an alternative! Do you need the number or link? And the equipment is not free, etc... I'd bet ol php and I could get you to love your ISP.

I will not have an LCD til they run out of CRT's. No thanks. It would take more than that to force me to change over.

Just about like I figured And now it is 51:6 in who's favor water Guess some folks never give up. That is what we like about our "Testy" girls. Just have faith fella's. You fella's are putting the cloud over being single. Kick it a little. Send the kids to water's for the weekend and get out the WD40.

I totally understand that part, it has gotten me into a couple of scrapes before also. And also let me walk away on my own 2 feet also.

This is interesting. "Hughes is working on the assumption that it can gradually move its current customer base off the conventional Ku-band satellites and onto Spaceway 3, thus removing these hefty transponder-lease payments from its balance sheet as the contracts expire. Well if I read it right, everybody is about to take it in the "To switch from the current system to Spaceway 3, all Hughes customers will need new equipment that is operable with Ka-band signals." I am just not sure whether it uses the 500/50 that I was given for an advertised speed, or one of the 7000 speeds. "Spaceway 3 will offer customers data throughput speeds up to eight times as fast as today

Well good luck then. And smooth sailing then.
