Well I'm not a wireless guru here....but is your wireless transponder built into the computer or is it a plug in unit. Maybe if it's a plug in you could try it in another machine to see if it's really working correctly......just a thought..

OK....I don't have the 7000....only the 6000....I'm also not running vista...only XP..however ...looking at your posts...I'd have to say that the properties in you vista machine are not set up correctly...within your browser..(IE or what ever it is)...these are quite crutial to the software that Hughes uses..try comparing them to another XP machine and see if you can see the problem...and check all the tabs in there....proxy is a biggy... and welcome to the forum...also tpc optimizer seems to work better for most Dway users....including myself..

ohmerrymayhem welcome to the forum....but there's a few things that need cleared up before you panic... 1) we have no idea what package you have....if it's one of the lower end plans then you really can't go by the % number as all comcast are averaged.. 2) you need to determine if the other computer was surfing or worst yet..downloading at the time you tested.....as that will drastically effect your speed test..
