this place is addictive...the other day at work i went to the basement to check on a computer...ended up spending 20 minutes surfing this site to "make sure the net worked fine"...i work in a restaurant LOL
Yeah, speed test (ew) gave me a huge connection "boost" where i got double my connection cap. and i had DU meter running so i know its a lie. but when i test here (because CA3LE painstakingly fixes any/every issues mentioned) the results here are spot on to what i see on my meter.
OMG put this in the funny stuff thread...as far as i can tell this makes me wonder why technology is frustrating...i unplugged my monitor...plugged it back in, turned it on and off a few times now its perfectly fine, im on it as we speak. WTF
edit/ just to say how dumb i feel...i was on this problem for about 3 weeks now....
my acer al2216w 22inch widescreen monitor has worked perfectly for a long time. as soon as i installed the new drivers for my graphics card in windows 7 it wont work at all. it will work as a "clone" of my 17 inch crt monitor that i now have to use but it wont recognize as a monitor. it will just say no signal. that is if it even detects. so now i am back with xp pro.
i have tried even formatting my pc, still no go. and i know the monitor is ok because it plays 720p high def. on my ps3 perfectly. how do i get it to recognize so i can use it as my pc monitor again?
yeah they make me physically sick anymore so....good incentive huh. and my gf doesnt want me to...so thats the one real thing that i am just stopping starting NOW
i have done alot of tweaking to it so far. but for some reason i cant find a place to set flags...i almost swear that i knew there was a way to do it....i'll keep looking.
i figured soemthign was wrong, but lately my whole ps3 has been freezing even in games, i moved it to a shelf where it has more breathing room and it solved the issue of freezing so hopefully it'll be good...especially since my warranty just expired.
