you just wanna clean the history of sites you've been on? clear your history, cookies, cache, and stuff in the internet options menu...

definately, i had the power go out on my old dell while it was on and i had the same problem as described so i tried everything but turns out it was the boot record.

you may have a bad boot sector...i mean the MBR...if you have a windows cd you can reinstall your boot files into the windows folder without having to format...you may have to retype in the activation key though.

amd athlon 64x2 5600+ 2.8ghz. had it OC'd to 3.2 but turned it back down.

click on download test and you will get this page. in the pic. and those speeds arent bad, but what package speeds are you paying for?

best wait for mudman to see this, he's better at it than i am. but you're folding on a PC right? there are tons of flags to add like the verbosity flag, mudman helped me, and he'll probably help you. what client do you have running? and is it the gui or the console one? if its on ps3 then there isnt much you can do that i've found.

yeah, im waiting to get somewhere close to you mudman, then i can really brag. but i've gotten to rank 59 with only 9 WU's . must be the big ones worth more points.

ok, mudman, i set up the ps3 so when its done with the WU it will go into expert mode, and i have everything set to where it wont do anything except turn on a screensaver after a while, which after all of this stuff i changed on it (couldnt figure out how to add tags, but i got everything else set up best i could) it should add more power to this. and as of 2 days ago i was rank 77 on the testmy.net team...now im 63, and after this WU finishes i bet i'll be 61 or even 60. watch out mudman, im slowly coming for you!

i only have a few games and photos on my computer right now...besides like firefox and those sort of things...but i used to have 120 gigs of music/video/etc. ...waste of space...so i got a 500gb external HDD

yeah i've learned that backup DVD's and ghost images of my harddrive are worth making

lol yeah, i remember trying to change settings in things just guessing what i needed to change...i had to format once because of it.

yeah as soon as i get some stuff installed on my pc i'll set up the display for my ps3 to show and i'll check out the option so when it finishes the WU it will be on expert mode

not sure. all i know is i went through every option i saw and the only thing i have yet to test out is the change from normal to expert mode. but i have to wait for the work unit to finish before i can change anything. and right now i dont have the display plugged in so im not sure where its at on the current one. i'll check it out and see what client and version im using edit/ i think im running version 1.3.1 on the ps3, although i dont see any links on google how to add flags or anything
