i just installed it last night. lol i used swimmer's guide which worked perfectly yeah i am fine using wired untill i get a chance to check out some more options for wireless. because if i need wireless i still have windows installed

hi, i followed swimmers guide and now can dual boot suse linux 10.1 and xp media center on my laptop...but when i'm in linux i can not get online, i've tried everything i can think of, but to no avail. any suggestions? to help i will try with an ethernet cable tomorrow, but right now i am trying to get on wireless but can't. thanks, starship

what program did you install

nope only thing i have by my monitor is my tower, which has been setup like this since i have setup my first pc (2 towers before now). it's only started recently, and when i turn it on it takes forever for the picture to come up. (and no magnets/speakers have been by it. my subwoofer is below my desk and off to the side a little.)

my monitor keeps going dark around the corners and wont go away untill i degauss, and is kind of blurry down at the bottom right corner where the clock is... bad monitor? thanks, starship_troopers

if it stops working check the bios like swimmer said, i was just posting because he said if it was a dell push F12. i was just gonna input if it is an acer its F2 while the log is displayed. but glad its working
