OT: same or new partner pic fr0st?
-
nothing. just wanna know. the answer will be known as a little trivia. so, anyone know where we got that 937500 RWin value?
-
I know the answer, but i'd like to ask anyone where that RWin value of 937500 came from.

1) access your canopy 2) go to the canopy login page. type username root, leave password blank. click login. 3) click account 4) click add user 5) type your desired username, select administrator as level, type desired password then confirm password. 6) click add. that's it! you can now log in as administrator!

fr0stbound is right. do not use proxy servers when you are speed testing. yes it feels good when we get high scores, and yes we pretty well know that the proxy thing made it possible. but hey guys don't take it seriously. as long as we are satisfied with the way things are going, keep it up. lets get contented with whatever we have, that's where real happiness comes from.
-
you can't change the base station but you switch between access points.
-
hmmm. i think i know the culprits. use avast home and comodo boclean. will improve your speed without compromising security. proxy.smartwifi.com.ph is also a good proxy server.
-
ok. let's lay down some options. install ccleaner and clean your pc. turnoff windows firewall. test your speed. do you have some anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spyware programs installed?

did you install something before the slow speed?
-
i have noticed that smartbro is slow on sunday evenings. they will be off at 3 or 4 dawn of monday then the speed will go back to normal after that. maybe its an SOP maintenance or something, what do you think?
-
i have ask my friend for a copy of Windows XP Service Pack 3 Beta, installed it and observed that everything went faster. i like it!
-
right. the most popular fake since 2004 is the one from amit. he just integrated firefox, vista-like themes and other stuff in the installation so his version will differ from sp2.
-
OT: put 10000 in the decimal box EF.
-
My friend installed it 2 weeks ago. Has anyone tried Windows XP Service Pack 3. Haven't read any about its difference from previous versions.
-
sorry man. never will. i have some reservations.
-
downtime maybe.
-
hey fr0st. jk. it's just that people miss people a lot of times. even if we are busy with our lives, here at tmn we can share light moments together right?
-
did you download it from a torrentsite? if so, they have probably blocked the key for it not to function properly. i told you before, my PFConfig is licensed, my cousin from the U.S. bought it and gave it to me. though i am not currently using it.

i see you really have lots of programs. if you wanna have faster connection and still enjoy the benefits of entertainment and pc protection i recommend the following: 1. use avast home anti-virus http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html, comodo firewall pro version 2 http://www.afterdawn.com/software/download_splash.cfm and spyware terminator http://www.spywareterminator.com/ instead of avg, mc afee and windows defender. 2. use winamp www.winamp.com, vlc player http://filehippo.com/download_vlc/ and windows media player 11 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx instead of quicktime, divx, interactual player, music match and itunes. 3. google search the procedure to uninstall taga lipa are virus or try this one from http://www.mapuaownage.com/forums/tech-discussions/2511-fs6519-dll-vbs-autoplay-taga-lipa-trojan.html "My Computer -> Tools Menu -> Folder Options -> View Tab: Select: Show hidden Files and Folders Uncheck: Hide Extensions for known file type and Hide Protected operating system Click Yes Then OK. You will see an autorun.inf and FS6519.dll.vbs in all your harddrives. Delete ALL of them. If it says that something is using the program. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and go to processes, end ALL wscript.exe Then go to run type regedit and then press ok, go to Edit -> Find and type FS6519.dll.vbs. Edit the found registry by selecting the name, ryt click and modify, remove the last two strings which is wscript.exe and FS6519.dll.vbs and click OK. If finished, press F3 and it will search again for another, just do the same thing until nothing is found in your registry. If you are done with the FS6519.dll.vbs, its time for the TAGA LIPA ARE! be edited in your IE, type the string on the search again then it will show up the IE title ... modify then type anything you like or better delete it." 4. when speed testing use IE.

i guess i was just lucky.
-
yes. proxy servers help speed up connections. it caches everything from your preferred website then delivers it to you. usually when using proxy.smartwifi.com.ph, the speed is 400+ kbps. but for me, my connection is at least 500+ kbps even without proxy. i think it's best to use proxies during peak hours especially when you experience 200 kbps more or less that time.

based on fact: "To support low-latency traffic such as VoIP (Voice over IP) or video, the Canopy system implements a high-priority channel. This channel does not affect the inherent latencies in the Canopy system but allows high-priority traffic to be immediately served. The highpriority pipe separates low-latency traffic from traffic that is latency tolerant, such as standard web traffic and file downloads." taken from the canopy user manual.
-
thank you! so we see you got a 7mB aggregate. yes, your sustained data rates are correct, although you can still set it to 5000 on DL and 2000 on UL. and uhuh, enabling the Hi-Priority Channel does help. that's nice. kuddos bluesero28
