The issue is not with RR, the issue is with Level3. RR is not the only ISP affected.

Basically, cablenut is a program which edits certain entries in your Windows registry to optimize your connection speed.

Some viruses are written in C++ on the kernel level, often exhibiting very similar symptoms as you have described....most of these infections are not picked up by AV's.

That program is a piece of crap anyway.

Dump your temp files and cookies, try again: For IE: -click tools, click internet options -click delete cookies, click ok -click delete files, place a check where it says delete all offline content, click ok -click ok -close and reopen your browser.....you'll have to log into sites again For FF: -click tools, click options -click the privacy menu -basically click each entry, then click clear -for cookies, make sure it is set to allow cookies

I would just like to back up some of the things I've heard. I would suggest that it is either the temp of the laptop is too high, or that the AC wall source is bad. It's best to run laptops on battery anyway, and only plug them in to charge the battery. Maybe you could rig up some sort of external fan system to ensure that the machine is ventilating properly.

I had Rogers cable at a previous location. It was very dependable, lots of uptime, good speeds and value. I would highly recommend it to others.
