This is what my first thought was. Seems as if a few diligent calls need to be made, to either the sales rep , or deeper. Aside this ,not knowing your landscape, let alone basic business model, I'm intrigued that this volume of data is being used on an internal network. Unless this is a call center that inherently needs to move location on demand, and no land line is available. Once off , monitoring is not going to do much more than physically grasping the scope of individual devices and there usage , collation of data raising IT costs, in allocating data collection and security over your local network which does nothing other than raise costs of time Vs. stagnate time usage, due to the fact you'll be concentrating on looking instead of doing, raise costs by possible programatic costs if continued perseverance in looking at the issue rather than attacking the issue in a more tenacious manner. I would first attack the fact your either on your package max ,which internally concerns your data provider / rep , smiling each months bonus, or looking into acquiring adjacent network configuration to ease the usage of this hotspot.

Late 07 macbook pro 2.4 4Gb 256 7200/500Gb Runs fantastic as it always did under 10.6 , Iv'e reinstalled twice with 10.7 , once with the image I burned from the download , and once after installing 10.6 and doing it through the app store. Same trash. Honestly I could care less at this point, I have things to do , instead of looking for a reason why one works great , and the new iPad operating system is fluking out on me. I have people telling me that I need to buy a new machine , or that I have issues with the hardware , anything but the reality.

Thought had crossed my mind, at the same time I hardly think so. I mean if each time we connected a device to an operating system it changed the firmware , we'd have a lot of issues. I did get another external dvd drive to burn a good disk. Only way the disk is usable this way , is if the disk utility is used directly. The contextual menu burns the disk , but leaves it in state that seems to not have closed out the session, and or changed the image format / type all on it's own. At this point , the internal superdrive is useless for adding data to a disk. The issue was supposed to have an updated fix in 10.7.2 or .3 Since I grabbed the image from the app store just this past week , I have .3 Although I did extract the main image from the package before installing , and burned to a disk for a stand alone fresh install of Lion , this should not have made a difference, whether it does or not is yet to be seen , by me at the least lol

This issue is removing my ability to speak. If i figure out this multi layered issue soon , I won't be left to grunts , clicks and pops from the throat to communicate. I just keeps getting better

Thus far, 1) Anything (linux wise) burned with OSX Lion will not boot. Internal super drive, or external burner. Seems there is an issue with any apple machine made before 2008 , where the drives are rendered more or less useless once Lion is installed. 2) Took the external drive that was connected to the Lion installation , connected it to two other machines locally , refuses to load up any disk. Possibly Lion made some configuration change to the drive ??

No errors. Simply attempts to boot from the network instead of loading the kickstart file.

Suppose i need another set of brain cells on this. I need centos 5 for something , has to be 64, none of my disks , be it dvd or cd , old , or fresh download will boot. Yet place a V.6 in and your golden.

Count me out, as I say I'll be heading back to before apple decided to turn every machine into an ipad look alike.

I might be the only person that has had a bad experience with Lion, either way , a wasted 30 bucks. And will be removed from my machine as soon as I can take the time. The longer I use it , the slower it gets. Seriously reminds me of ( what was the last windows rippoff ? ) Where you were expected to have a fresh from the shelve machine or you suffered physical resource issues. Each time the machine is restarted , it takes longer to boot, while streaming HD video from the net, the entire system is literally choppy. Where snow leopard was not. I suppose when you make the move to the pretties instead of usability , you need more resources , in which is ridiculous.

lol , yes , seems very few media types are hyper sensitive , but I don't think in reality many people are like that, what do i know. I guess my question about diablo was , is there still a disk , that you must install locally to play, or it it all in the cloud ?

Or a more precise upload scale to overlay the download.
