pixiepistlz Posted August 17, 2009 CID Share Posted August 17, 2009 I just hope he isn't here for another 4 years. I was hoping for an independant. Another Perot .
tommie gorman Posted August 17, 2009 Author CID Share Posted August 17, 2009 Yes, an independant would be my choice if one got as close as Perot to a win again. But one has never gotten as close again. And yes momma, we know for real, Obama is not your love.

tdawnaz Posted August 23, 2009 CID Share Posted August 23, 2009 i know i've posted this before...but it bears repeating... i see people doing this ...i do it when i'm a ways away...but i usually just try to go up and verbally say my thanks...but this gesture does work and they do understand what it means...there actually is a shorter vid at gratitudechampaign.org
mudmanc4 Posted August 23, 2009 CID Share Posted August 23, 2009 This is a good idea. Last week I was at the eye docs for the first time to this guy, my wife and youngest go there blah blah, anyhow , I make conversation wherever I go, so he told me he was in dessert storm, so i couldn't stop myself from telling him thank you, and shaking his hand, he said your welcome, there was a moment of silence, not awkward, he smiled and we got back to the reason I was there. I know it effected him. Maybe he doesn't get sincere acknowledgement for his service to me and my niebors as much as he should. And it's not about politics, it's about selflessness, and personal sacrifice.

Quite proud of those two, and yes have told them often, and back them all the time.

tommie gorman Posted December 15, 2009 Author CID Share Posted December 15, 2009 He's a good ole Louisiana boy.. Why have we not seen this on TV or heard it on the radio??????? We need more media coverage of events such as this to motivate all Americans to love, honor, fight and cherish the freedoms in our country as much as all military personnel who have and do take the time to protect those of us who are unable to fight. They lay down their lives and loves each day for us to be able to live in the greatest country in the world!!!!!! Please, I ask that you pass this around to all your e-mail contacts so that it may touch each American -- man, woman and child -- on this earth -- not just during the Christmas and New Year celebrations -- but for all time. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU SAFE AND FREE ALWAYS!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!

fastdan Posted September 21, 2010 CID Share Posted September 21, 2010 I guess I've always been a Patriot. When my parents used to take us to the Saturday Mattenee around age 9. I would get pissed if I was not there early enough to here the Star Spangle Banner. To this day it pisses me off to here POP Singers massacre the song at sporting events. As far as I'm concerned if you don't like the Ideals of this Country get the F#@& out. Check my web site out but it is still under construction; http://home.rr.com/dmanga6 At the end of the day I look in the mirror ...................................... and I still see an american. generallee76 Posted September 21, 2010 CID Share Posted September 21, 2010 Check my web site out but it is still under construction; http://home.rr.com/dmanga6 Check my web site out but it is still under construction http://home.rr.com/dmanga6 I know that I'm a Patriot, I was always early enough to the Sat. matinée to see the old newsreels of the end of WWII and the Korean war. After high school I was drafted and served my country. I was injured in the Line of Duty and I'm now 100% disabled, but I would tell you that if they needed me to help teach what I knew about warfare I would go back in a heart beat. I am of Irish, English and Dutch decent, but I AM AN AMERICAN. Born here and PROUD of it..... If you don't like it here than LEAVE and go back to where you came from. PLEASE....... tdawnaz

Roco Posted September 21, 2010 CID Share Posted September 21, 2010 Oh no, the blinkered Patrotism rears it's head again , we are all world citizens , the other guy has his own ways and thoughts , sure be proud of your country , but don't go deaf to other views , Personaly , I was stateless for most of my life , in later years I became British , ( not English ) so waving a flag seems pointless to me , I owe no alegence to any Country , or Ruler , President or flag etc , only to other folk in this flea bitten world , I kinda like it that way , But if I ever felt the need to wave a flag it would be , but I don't get the urge often a cold shower soon cures that , sorry to interupt please carry on flag waving BTW, my vote was "yes shed a tear " America is special to me , I don't always agree , and at time feel like a Troll , ? maybe I have been around to long , but TMN forum has a world wide spread , my views are my own , with a European influance , and no insult ever intended Best Regards Roco UK
coknuck Posted September 29, 2010 CID Share Posted September 29, 2010 SEASON'S GREETINGS T'was the night before elections And all through the town Tempers were flaring Emotions all up and down I, in my bathrobe With a cat in my lap Had cut off the TV tired of political clap-trap When all of a sudden There arose such a noise I peered out my window Saw Obama and his boys They had come for my wallet They wanted my pay To give to the others Who had not worked a day! He snatched up my money And quick as a wink Jumped back on his bandwagon As I gagged from the stink He then rallied his henchmen Who were pulling his cart I could tell they were out To tear my country apart! 'On Fannie, on Freddie, On Biden and Ayers! On Acorn, On Pelosi' He screamed at the pairs! They took off for his cause And as they flew out of sight I heard him laugh at the nation Who wouldn't stand up and fight! So I leave you to think On this one final note— IF YOU DON'T WANT SOCIALISM GET OUT AND VOTE !!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA , OUR ONLY HOPE!
mudmanc4 Posted September 30, 2010 CID Share Posted September 30, 2010 Honestly my opinion is that so many people are dis connected from whats really being done , next to what there being told, that people will do what there commanded to do and vote for communism.
