I have been waiting for the evening speed drops to be fixed since 12/01/05. I put a bid in tonight for 65,000 cash to offer the solution to solve the mystery. Provide more BW , they are simply oversold on some transponders....works fine during off peak hours. Don't look for a solution no time soon! You have heard the saying #'it or get off the pot? Ive been waiting since 12/01/05, all I get advertised speeds early morning thats it.....I see a case # and hear "engineering is working on it", "not sure how long it will take". Have they quit selling the 7000 ......no, everyday they just keep loading the transponders up. Obviously they do not have a fix or they are not wanting to spend to make it happen. Satmex 5 has had problems for how long ? ....are they paying?

When I first got the DW6000 I had a few problems....several months of good service until I upgraded to the 7000. Using same frequency. same sat,same PC, same OS......Direcway was in a big hurry to get the hole shot on WB, now it seems they cant fix the mess?

Running 3 different ad-ware programs, up to date virus scan, as well as a firewall....get good speeds all day then slow in the evening.....I'm very confident my problem as well as many users is not the PC to blame here. If a person gets good speeds at anytime of the day....how can it be the PC or the dish pointing to blame?

Slight drizzle brings transmission errors to record high, as well as speeds are far from consistent for me.....this upgrade has been a pure joke since 12/01/05 for me. Good signal, good cros-pol at the minute download speed is 1000 however can not upload zilch!

My error rates were fixed, however speed still dipped into the 400's on Horizons during evening hours. I have lost any faith they are fixing that, getting new customers every day.

I think your right after checking my usage....looks like on several occasions uploaded over 100MB in a couple hours, speeds remained about the same. This is a good thing as 50MB upload FAP would be another snag for me.
