Yes satelite is always slow Lisa, it has to bounce 20000+ feet in the air and return. So there is the big slowdown that can not be beat. Best of luck with the tech call. I hear you there boywonder. I am in nowehre also, and I have been staring at 6.0 DSL 2 city blocks from my house for about 2-3 years now. And thats as close as I'll get for a while too. Was on satelite, till EVDO came along. Better than sat, but still room for improvement. Best of luck with this adventure.

I still say I'd gripe and get it for the $5 less as advertised. You have to gripe to get it changed though. I used to pay for 28 K dial up what 56 k cost, till I seen an ad one day and they changed it to 56k no problem, but you have to point out the difference to them.
