Full load 36-38c - idle 30

hehehe lol - ....my ram can take it, i know that for a fact becuse when I was testing the components seperately I was able to take ram up to 315FSB - and thats going from a stock 200FSB chip ! - I love ocz ram ! - I know that 1.59 volts is limiting me - I really do not wanna go any higher than that though
-
I can go up to 11 x 274 = 3Ghz - ram will still be in 1T and in 1:1 with the cpu - that will require me to push my vcore up to 1.59V, with full load temps @ 37c - The wierd thing is that I cannot get it fully stable - I can prime it for about 10 hours, which could be considered stable, but anywhere from 10-12 hrs of running prime - it will crash
-
1) I think that 1.71 is a lot more voltage than you should put through your processor - the 90nm processors, like the 3700+ you are running, should not be at more than 1.65 volts - voltage kills ! - some amd cores, like barton will run at higher voltages than 2.0 - but ....i wouldnt advise you to do that on a sandy 2) If you would like to find out the true voltage of your processor/chipset - get out a voltmeter and find a guide that tells you where on your motherboard you can measure the effective voltage - in many cases not even bios will tell the correct vcore *my thoughts
-
You would neet to run prime95 on it for maybe 10 hours - if it comes out without a single error it's stable.....i can load up my 3700+ at 3.3 but as soon as I run prime it crashes

You should use Everest, Sandra and similar programs for benchmarking rather than web based utilities

I am pretty sure that AOL has a dialer program outside of the main suite - if you can find that dialer program and just use that to connect to the net you can save urself all the little problems AOL gives u

This site pays for itself but it still wouldnt hurt to donate
-
true.....you can also get sued if ur isp finds our what ur doing
-
they overclock decent - it very much so depends on all ur other components, mainly your motherboard/ram and power supply....well thats prett much all of them hehehe LOL - but they do good - some people have more luck than others and are able to go as high as 2.75ghz on stock voltage while others are already at like 1.60v at that speed.....it varies the skill and patience are also a big factor here
-
you either need to adjust ur fsb and the multiplier or turn off the cool and quiet feature of the processor - my runs constantly at 2.2ghz
-
cant really help you there - only you can decide if the extra speed is worth to you

6mb down / .5mb up 39 a month (cox.net)
-
and btw - most p2p sharing programs connect to the similar if not the same network - so it's wrong to say that limewire is full of viruses - any p2p is full of viruses - but you could say that the share network is full of files which contain viruses, limewire has nothing to do with it
-
id like to see a proof of this - not he said she said proof, but actual proof - i use limewire very often and I like it, its fast, doesnt take up much resources, and as far as Im informed its spyware free
-
sata drivers are plug and play, which means they can safely be attached/de-attached from your system while it is running - all you have to do is just install the sata drivers and plug them im

kudos on the process explorer program i find that very useful - windows should use something like that instead of their task manager
-
i dont know about that .... personally I could care less if they had quad card setup in there lolz - for me notebooks are all about mobility, all around performance on the go and a nice battery life - not a desktop replacement, i dont see why anyone would wanna get a laptop like that, for me it just serves no purpose
